GOTHENBURG, Sweden, February 14, 2013 – Connection Technology Systems (CTS) and Netrounds today announced the launch of a strategic partnership for enabling more efficient quality assurance in fiber networks. The partnership brings greatly improved capabilities for remote testing, troubleshooting and monitoring by integrating Netrounds’ software into CTS’s equipment. The main benefits achieved are increased quality, lower operational costs, and increased end user satisfaction.
“There is a clear and growing demand from our customers to lower their operational costs. We are glad to launch this partnership with Netrounds since it provides our customers with an innovative solution that is easy-to-use, easy-to-implement, and provides major operational cost savings and quality benefits,” says Bo Sahlström, managing director at CTS Northern Europe.
Over the last years, there has been a strong growth of more advanced services delivered over the fiber networks, such as IPTV. This has increased the need for efficient quality assurance tools to continuously ensure end user satisfaction. CTS’s equipment is located in the home or office environment and is usually the demarcation point of the service provider’s responsibility. With Netrounds enabled in the equipment, the service provider can quickly and remotely ensure the quality of the delivery.
“We are glad to announce this partnership together with CTS, which provides our joint customers with greatly improved capabilities for enhancing the end-user experience,” says Marcus Jonsson, Chief Marketing Officer at Netrounds.
Both companies will participate at the FTTH Conference in London, February 20-21. Visitors are welcome at booth B50 to learn more about how to increase customer satisfaction and lower operational costs.
