Out of about 300 nominated companies, Netrounds was chosen as one of the 33 hottest tech companies in Sweden for the second consecutive year. The list is compiled once a year by the editorial staff at the Swedish news magazines Ny Teknik and Affärsvärlden. Previously listed companies include Spotify and Voddler.
One of the criteria for being eligible is that the company is based on an innovation with international potential which can change the game in its industry.
”We are very glad to once again be on this list of exciting companies. Netrounds continues to develop and we have recently presented innovative solutions in which we are including our measurement technology in customer premises equipment (CPE). This is a huge market with hundreds of millions units every year,” says Mats Nordlund, CEO and co-founder.
Netrounds is currently used by more than 130 companies around the world for testing and troubleshooting of networks. One of the major benefits with Netrounds is the possibility of automation and working remotely, which saves both time and money since it reduces the need for manual work and for sending out engineers in the field. Unlike the competition, Netrounds is cloud-based and offered as a subscription service without the need for heavy investment, which revolutionizes the industry.
”We are very strong in Sweden and we have since last year intensified our international presence and are now represented with sales people in Boston, London and Singapore. The number of employees has been doubled and we have a very positive view of the future,” says Marcus Jonsson, CMO and co-founder.
