We are pleased to share that Netrounds recently participated in an industry-first NFV interoperability test conducted by the New IP Agency (NIA), a joint partnership between Light Reading and the EANTC.

The groundbreaking interoperability effort included participation from 12 leading and emerging vendors committed to the success and interoperability of virtualized networks and NFV (Network Function Virtualization). The tests carried out by the EANTC team, were all conducted remotely and focused on NFVi-VNF interoperability combinations that had never been tested under open conditions.

As an indication of our commitment and focus on enabling the success of virtualized architectures, Netrounds played a role in the support and testing of this critical effort. We successfully demonstrated interoperability of our virtual Test Agent for validating service quality across end-to-end dynamic NFV environments.

We are honored to be part of this truly collaborative effort focused on ensuring interoperability in a virtualized world. We would like to thank Light Reading, the EANTC, and all of the participants for their time, effort and true spirit of collaboration. We believe that these types of efforts are critical to the future of our industry and hope to see broader involvement from other leading and emerging companies in future efforts of this type.
