Many of our customers has requested the possibility to get statistics on how much traffic there is on a remote site, what hosts that sends/receives the most traffic, and for what service.
Therefore we have now included Darkstat as a new application in Netrounds. Darkstat is a small and efficient software that can be enabled for any of your probes.
About Darkstat:
Captures network traffic, calculates statistics about usage, and serves reports over HTTP.
Traffic graphs, reports per host, shows ports for each host.
Supports IPv6.
Most commonly you will span (port mirror) for example the port connected to the WAN, so that you will be able to get more information about the traffic going to/from your WAN.
